Why Am I Fundraising?

My name is Mayank Anand. I am a second year engineering student, studying at BIT Mesra, living in Patna. My mother, Anita, is suffering from Adenocarcinoma Cancer- cancer originating in glandular tissue. She was suffering from piles and four months ago, she went to a local nursing home for an operation. Unfortunately, the operation was unsuccessful and wiithin few days, the condition became worse due to bad medical treatment. Last month, she went to another doctor and he came to the conclusion that cancerous cell were growing rapidly in her body. Without any further delay, we took her to Tata Memorial hospital in Mumbai, for her further treatment as prescribed by the doctor. My father is a government employee on temporary basis. We had spent months without his salary.

 I have a brother who is not earning much. Due to our poor economic background, we are unable to arrange the money needed my mother's treatment. So we have decided to seek your help and raise funds for her treatment.
