WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
We are group of individuals who has taken the initiative upon themselves to start a fight against hunger in our town. we provide food to the underprivileged through our community kitchen every other day. But since the last few months we are facing shortage of funds because of which there has been instances where the people were returned without being fed adequately, and many a times there have been instances where we might have faced shortage of adequate supply to feed the people at our doorstep.
WHY WE DO IT
As taught by almighty Gurunanak Devji it is the solemn duty of the privileged class to take care of the underprivileged. All his life he had setup the langar centres to feed the poor and underprivileged. Being inspired from his teachings we have taken the duty upon ourselves to feed the underprivileged, so that no one is ever forced to go to sleep with a empty stomach.
So I request you all to kindly join us in this war against hunger and help  us win it so that no one sleeps empty stomach. Even a small contribution from your side can make a very large impact on the society and specially to the younger ones who can be taught that even today humanity exist.
HOW WE WILL DO IT
We are collecting funds to support approximately 100 underprivileged with balanced meals for an entire year. The meal will comprise of 1 dal, 1 vegetable, chappatis, rice, and some dessert. Though the people who need the food have been identified since long, we need your support in ensuring that they get good nutritional diets.

Cost per meal: We are able to serve one meal for Rs. 20. We will serve a minimum of 2 meals a day to 100 people for an entire year.
Rs. 20 x 2 = Rs 40/day

Rs. 40 x 365 = Rs. 14600 /person for an entire year
That is Rs. 14600- to feed 1 person for one year.
