What is FeedbackDo?
FeedbackDo(TM) is a “Do it all” kind of solution to connect with Government authorities using our mobile app or website to send feedback of the failure of their services comprising yet not limited to civic issues. Citizens can also use this medium to convey their appreciations once they are resolved.
People need not know the department or its contacts details to forward their complaints. Complaints are automatically forwarded, to the officer in charge or if needed even his boss!
FeedbackDo will also be a platform for citizens to connect with activists and experts living in their locality and get their assistance in resolving their issues.
FeedbackDo is in short a large database of our complaints/feedback, our anguish, our frustration and more importantly our hope!
All complaints will be listed under respective agency’s page on the FeedbackDo website. The no. of open issues, average time to resolve issues, contact details of the concerned offices will all be easily accessible to everyone. The user can also browse through all the complaints made so far for a particular department.
FeedbackDo will be a searchable database providing a clearer picture of local issues which will help reporters and activists take necessary action. For example a reporter could search for areas with the most instances of noise violations with loud speakers playing beyond the deadline or above the decibel limit and write an article on it. Or an activist in the area could volunteer to raise the issue with appropriate authorities for a permanent solution.
The cost of building and maintaining such a solution is significant. It is also something that should be 'by the people and for the people'. This is the reason we call upon all citizens to come together and contribute through funds and/or their expertise to make this a better city, better state and a better country!
