LOOKING HELP FOR MY FATHER'S HEART OPERATION:
Before 9 years, my father had a valve replacement for mitral & aortic valve in GKNM HOSPITAL. Before that my father had medicines for heart problem. He stopped for 3yrs so dat heart valves severely affected. So dey did valve replacement.
For replacement of valves, there are two options. Artificial valve or biovalave (bio valves from animals - PIG OR COW). Artificial valves can have life span upto 20yrs & it is suitable for youngsters since it requires strong body condition & needs more medicine after surgery. Biovalve lifetime is of 8-10 yrs. Based on my father condition, doctor chose bio valve & now it's life is getting over. Due to this valve problem, breathing is not normal. Heart beat increases at sometimes (120 - 150).
Mainly mitral valve was damaged & lifetime of both valves are getting end. Surgeon doctor told us to replace both valves. For this it costs around 4 lakhs. (Only surgery cost). Apart from this, extra charges are applicable for basic TESTS required for heart surgery. It will be roughly around 1 Lakh.
Before surgery, the patient have to undergo some medical tests required for HEART SURGERY. once patient is fit for all these tests, surgeon will give date for operation.
Doctor advised me to do operation as soon as possible.
