Hi all,

I started the Farmers Rise Foundation along with my friends to scale up the work that we were doing as our social responsibility in personal capacity for the under-privileged part of the society. We have contributed funds to help people during various natural calamities like, Bihar flood,Chennai Flood,support to educate extremely poor students etc. We then started working with farmers in rural areas on voluntary basis and sensed the huge sustainability issues there. Since then we are working to improve the living and ecological sustainability in rural areas. Have planted more than 10000 trees in the village in the last 4 years, have adopted the govt primary school to provide basic assistance to improve the quality of education and well being of kids all coming from poor farmer's family and we are working to improve water condition and promoting natural/organic farming.
To continue and scale-up our work we need extra funds that will be utilised on following work :
1. Provision to provide healthy breakfast to Nimbha ZP primary school kids. This will help increase the on time attendance of students, provide them healthy nutrition and bring focus on quality education delivery.
2. Plan to plant 25000 trees to reforest a patch of common land patch and also put serious provision to save trees
3. To provide clean drinking water the the school
