Cyclone Fani,  classified as an extremely severe cyclone (ESC), is the 10th such cyclone hit India in past 52 years. The ravaging cyclone has affected millions people, seriously disrupted communications, leveled thousands of homes, destroyed paddy crops and swept away livestock. Even now on 03 May 2019 Cyclone Fani made landfall at Puri with heavy rains and wind speed of 240 kmph, left a trail of destruction in Odisha. The WMO has warned that low-lying districts in Odisha are to be flooded because a storm surge (rising of level due to storm) of about 1.5 metre height above astronomical tide is expected when Cyclone Fani hits Odisha. Almost all the districts have been submerged in water.

The Emergency Response Volunteers of AK Foundation (R) from Jharkhand & Andhra Pradesh like always have already hit the ground and started the rescue and relief efforts in the affected areas by helping the FANI Victims. We have already provided Relief Kits which includes Ready Food, Medicines, Sanitary Napkins, Water & certain clothes etc.,

The FUNDS raised will be utilized to distribute Relief Kits to the Victims stationed at Relief Camps. Each Relief Kit Packet contains Ready Food/(Rice, Wheat, Dhal, Salt, Sugar, Cooking Oil & Biscuits), Medicines, Sanitary Napkins, Water, Odomos, Cloths which costs Rs 2750/-. We have already raised 2,50,000/- from the Trust A/c as well as Generous Doners and have provided 90 Relief Kits. Also we have provided 3 Doctors at the Relief Camps.

We have aimed to help 1000+ People presently station at Puri, Cuttack & Mayurbhanj right now. Only with immense support we will extend our relief operations.

To scale up our relief efforts, we need your huge support. Without your support it will be difficult to help the Grieve struck FANI Victims.
