I am fundraising to help my dad undergo a heart surgery

My father, Md Usman Ahmed has recently got a heart attack because of complete heart block. . After the diagnosis, doctors have suggested for a double line pacemaker installation. He is a diabetic and suffering from hypertension. Hence the case is complex and needs to be addressed urgently with care. He was admitted in CK Birla Hospital but now we shifted my father in AMRI hospital due to very high medical cost which might cross more then 7 lakhs. AMRI medical cost can be 5 lakhs.
We belong to a middle class family and we have been financially not so strong. We cannot afford this complicated bypass surgery . Hence small contribution is required from all the guys of SSEC and BSS Technologies Please help in the best possible way which will help me to get my father treated. I have attached all the documents related to my father treatment which was given by CK Birla Hospital and the rest documents from AMRI will be submitted once I get.

Dear Supporters,

I am Sudhakar, a Milaap Open fellow in Bengaluru. I spoke to Dimple, Somnath’s daughter today.

Somnath underwent the bypass surgery on 25th November 2015. The bypass surgery was successful despite the multiple other illnesses that he had. He has now reached the age of 60 and has stopped going to work every since the heart attack last year. He was working with Unitech Automobiles.

The post surgery treatment is also complicated because of multiple reasons. He has had to consult several super specialists. The haemoglobin count in his blood was low post the surgery. He was suspected to have cancer, for which he was referred to a hematologist. While cancer has been ruled out, he is now taking medication to correct the haemoglobin levels. He is also a diabetic, for which he has to monitor his sugar levels and visit a diabetologist regularly. He has been asked to visit a cardiologist every 3 months for various tests to track progress of his health.

Deepti says, “While I managed to raise the rest of the funds from my friends and family, the surgery would not have been possible without the support of the contributors on Milaap. The funds were extremely helpful. Thanks a lot to each and every one of you.”
