Appeal on behalf of Naglaxmi, a young mother of 3 children,
Naglaxmi's husband works as a security guard but doesn't support her in any of the house expenses and doesn't support the children in their education. A story we have all heard / seen many a times.
But here is our hero, Naglaxmi she along with her daughter has left no stone unturned to ensure her daughter's education doesn't stop at any cost. With a monthly salary of just 12k to 15k, Naglaxmi has taken some loans and so far managed to pay the 1st year fee.
At a very young age Naglaxmi has been through a lot, with a abusive marriage and financial burdens and responsility of three children and elders in the house that she has to support alone.
Naglaxmi's daughter Navanita who has witnessed all the abuse her mother went through is determined to complete her Engineering and she says to her mother "just wait till I start earning, you will never have to work again." I have met this girl and she's definitely got the rigor to do something big in life.
Currently Navanita is studying Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) from KVSW - Dr.K.V.Subba Reddy Women's Engineering College located in Kurnool - Andhra Pradesh. In a month's time she is moving to her 2nd year of Engineering.
Her college / hostel fee are due and Nagalaxmi is having sleepless nights. She has already got a lot of loans on her head and not got the capacity to pay back anymore if she even borrows.
Here is an appeal to all those who strongly support education for girls and who would like to help empower women please come forward and support this cause. Naglaxmi and Navanita need a little push, they need a little more support from the universe and it might just keep the fire burning another day for them.
