Story -
In 21st century we are moving very fast towards a digital era. Nowadays in our Digital India all Government services are available to citizens electronically. With computer literacy everyone will be able to make sincere use of information and communication technologies in this digital era.
Driven by increased accessibility at affordable data costs more than two-thirds of active internet users are now accessing the internet daily to meet their entertainment and communication needs which bridges the gap that existed between urban India and rural India. The gender gap is also now bridging in as women sect is equally active in the digital world, equally engaged over the Internet as men and constitute about 42% of total Internet users.
The number of Internet users in India has exceeded half a billion people in 2018! This figure is estimated at 566 million as of December 2018. Various reports further highlight the probability of double-digit growth for 2019 and estimate that the number of internet users in India will reach a huge 627 million in 2019.
However, today we know that our skills are not enough to survive in the digital era. So what we need is Computer Literacy For All.
Challenges -
No doubt, that “Digital India” has embarked on an unstoppable journey towards future. But the digital literacy gap cannot be ignored, which still persists in modern India, which is mostly an up-hill climb rather than a fast tumble.
And what comes not so alarmingly is the fact that the most common device to access the Internet is a mobile phone, accounting to a dramatic 97%.
The most strategic question here is that are they able to work on a computer. The real fact is hiding behind our today’s digital India image.
Various initiatives by the Government, has helped to a certain extent but somehow, such initiatives have not been able to spread awareness about the importance of Computer education as it should have. The result is being - limiting them from reaching their fullest potential without proper computer literacy. An external view of India would definitely be that India is reaching new heights but most of the people are lagging in when it comes to proper knowledge of using a computer.
Solution -
NISTAR thus wants to step in and has come up with its Computer literacy for all initiative, a unique way of easy, short term, i.e. , for everyone a weekly computer literacy programme but with a better learning experience to which anyone will not hesitate to join. So we believe that this programme will help attract a bigger crowd into computer education.

• A one week short term training gracefully anyone can complete.
• Definitely it will be a better learning experience.
• With already having the touch of technology, definitely it’s easy & simple.
• Enhance a better knowledge grasping power, better presentation skills, innovative capabilities etc.
• Achieve a bigger target of computer literacy in the region.
• Help attract a bigger underprivileged crowd into computer education which means really NISTAR, a release towards freedom.

This campaign to raise funds is for two months for this programme but we are certainly going to continue it for one whole year.
