In February 2019, a terrible forest fire ravaged the Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka causing mass destruction. Two generations ago, around Jenu Kurba tribal families living in the core of the forest were resettled to its fringe after the formation of this reserve. As a part of the Women's Health and Employment Project, Reachout, in collaboration with Junglescapes, is raising funds to buy solar cookers for the Jenu Kurba tribal women in Bandipur. We believe that these cookers will play a significant role in empowering these women. With an estimated cost of Rs. 2,00,000 per village, the funds raised will be focused on the families in the village of Guddakere,
