INTRODUCTION:

Glorious Gospel Mission Charitable Trust (GGMCT) is a registered non-profit organization working for the comprehensive development of Dalit women, children, youth and elders of urban slum community for the past 25 years. Our mission is to create empowered women in slums as well as promoting skilled youth and protect Rights of Children. 

GGMCT was established by Rev.S.George Muller, a social activist.  Now, Mrs. Roselin Muller is assisting him and the organization has been lead by a team of committed young social workers. The Executive Members and current Managing Trustee all are originated from the Dalit community.

FOCUS: Presently we are working for the education of homeless girl children and running a shelter home in association with Greater Chennai Corporation at Lock Nagar, Chepauk, Chennai. The abandoned, orphan and children of pavement dwellers are the prime beneficiaries.

RISKS: These girl children are staying at platforms, under the bridges and bus terminus. They are the victims of abuse, trafficking and even sexual assault. Unsafe living conditions and has no covered shelter, toilet /bath room.

REQUIREMENT: Even though having these challenges, the children are willing to study and they required psychological support and little bit of educational materials.

OUR TASK: We plan to support 45 children, this year. This includes Nutritional Food, Regular Medical Kit for Adolescent Girl Children and Educational Materials. We required an amount of 2.5 lakhs to meet the expenses for 45 children.
