Help Underprivileged Children Realise their Dream

Dear All,

The history behind educating the underprivileged children as individuals. We are three individuals who consider basic education of children is until they complete graduation.

It all started this way: Couple of years (Approx 8 years) back while we were doing our graduation, we had few kids who approached us at the Marina beach, Chennai, India; asking if we could lend some money for them to buy books. Just like any other doubtful public we were a bit hesitant. Then one of my friends said,"Ok, we are ready for the same, but how do we trust it's for books and that you people are not begging for someone else's pleasure?"

Then this boy said, Akka (Elder Sister) if you can spare sometime please do come with us. Though a little hesitant about the safety, we started walking with them. On the way we got to know their names, their families etc. When we reached their place of residence, alas! there was no second thought.

Reaching back home we discussed what is this small amount going to help them in the long run? Then we decided, lets share the blessings of our family and education with them. We stopped being spend thrifts. We saved every penny we could. That was still not enough.

Thanks to our family and the local connections we had at that time. Few broad minded people were ready to help us not just financially but morally as well. This not just helped us to pay their fees, but also take responsibility of educating more kids and give them better school of their choice.

Hence this journey continued until now, where, 5 kids have successfully completed Class 12 and now they are ready for graduation which will help them pursue their dreams of becoming a Nurse (3 Kids) and aspiring civil servants (2 kids) to give back to the society. Three Kids are still at school level.

As professional education needs more fund, we have begun to seek the help of MILAAP for crowdfunding, as this is the only way we can help these children pursue their dreams no matter what hurdles they come across.

We are in need to arrange these funds latest by June end, as we need to pay their college and school fees. It also includes other expenses such as books, uniforms etc

Looking forward for all your support and blessings.

Dear All,
We are happy that few people have come forward and donated funds through crowdfunding and in person. We have so far collected Rs.65K, but this amount is not enough for us to meet the complete fee requirements.

Only part fees have been paid for the school kids and the college going students are yet to be placed.

We request your kind help in order to achieve the target amount so that we would be able to place every kid, avoiding wasting a year of education.

Kindly spread the word and help us achieve our dreams.
