We have always believed in helping the people in need through various means and also been very careful how we raise money.
Make a Change is a community that raises a community, for this we created a welfare project under Make A Change called Aplusmax/Aplus that encourages entrepreneurs with different abilities. We train the people with Down syndrome at the Down syndrome Federation Of India to create various eco friendly products such as cloth tote bags , paper straws, paper bags, etc and the profits of the sales go towards the welfare of the children. We did couple of events so far and have been paying the kids a stipend every month and also donated a huge sum to the DSFI.
We have been a part of various exhibitions to create awareness about Down syndrome and showing people what a huge difference their time and energy makes in the lives of all these kids and adults while also using these platforms to raise money.
Apart from this we have also been supporting the girls from Lady Sivaswami Higher Secondary School by sponsoring the girls’ education from 2015 until now. The school also reported 100% pass percentage in the year of 2018. Apart from education we also sponsor lunches and breakfast for the kids at the school itself.
Make A Change has also helped and cared for the welfare of Animals, we have sponsored surgeries for a few stray cats and dogs. Every life matters and we truly believe in that.
