The I AM Foundation is a charitable organization that focuses on helping children in need by giving them new opportunities. The foundation supports and assists various reputed organizations, individuals, families, businesses and agencies doing commendable work to make the world a better place to live in. Everything I AM does is to empower the most vulnerable children and adults around the world through self-esteem literacy, resiliency education, and social entrepreneurship training – thereby building skills that will help them throughout their lives.
I AM Foundation is especially committed to giving young girls the step up they need to survive in today’s society through their partnership with Bal Asha Trust and Food For Life Vrindavan. The Bal Asha Trust works towards women and child welfare and development. They help girls with nutritional, medical, educational, developmental and recreational needs for their healthy and wholesome future. Food For Life Vrindavan focuses on offering free education to underprivileged children, focusing on girls, whether it be through direct schooling, free books and stationery, uniforms or basic medical care and meals. By ensuring that girls get access to these amenities, they aim to offset the imbalance in preference that families give the girl child, in comparison to boys, hence giving them more opportunities for long term development. They also train village women in health and personal finance and help them further in myriad ways.
By supporting such organisations, I AM Foundation works steadily towards its goal of helping young girls grow into self-sufficient adults who can take care of their own families and have a successful future. By donating to them, you can #StandWithAGirl and ensure that she gets the opportunity to flourish and succeed, and get a quality of life that would otherwise have been inaccessible to her.
