My name is Durgesh and this year I will be attending the Sapienza University of Rome for a Master's degree in Computer Science.
You can imagine how excited I can feel right now as this is like a dream come true to me. I mean, Sapienza University of Rome!
But firstly, let me tell you a bit about me, the reasons for choosing a Master's degree and why it would help me fulfill my dreams:
My philosophy:
My dream is to make the world a better place for people. This desire constantly inspires me to find creative and innovative solutions that meet their needs and improve their lives, regardless of income, age or background.
Fees:
What am I raising funds for?
I am looking to raise money to start the MS in Computer Science at the Sapienza University of Rome. Naturally, a master's degree is far more expensive than the target I have set, however in conjunction with a small amount of money I have saved so far, I can start undertaking modules and benefitting from the knowledge I would gain.
Why do I want to do this now?
I am looking to get a start on some of the smaller sections of the masters now as there are presently a number of opportunities in my workplace which will complement the modules I plan to do.
Why is it important to me?
To attain this qualification will greatly add to my professional development and career progression but achieving a master's degree is about a much wider picture for me.Many of the people I have encountered have limited capability or significant barriers in the way of being able to work or engaging in back to work activity.
My goal is to eventually conduct practical research in one of two areas:
Knowledge to start my business ventureIndependence, ownership, and creativity: I will be able to put my ideas at work and fulfill my dreams!An opportunity to share my passions with my future customers and delight them with a whole body & mind experience.
