Hello everyone,
I am Shanmuga Sundaram Sampath Raju (Facebook), an animal lover from Peravallur, Chennai.
I've been raising pets since I was 6 years old. I started rescuing animals since 2012 after I received more awareness about Animal Welfare and Rights on Facebook. I couldn't bear the fact that my diet was contributing to the cruelty of animals. So I became a Vegetarian on 2012.
My wife is kind enough to support my animal welfare activities and engage in them too. My daughter is a Vegetarian as well, she grew up with rescued animals. She has compassion and affection for all of our rescued babies as well.
I have 17 rescued mongrels, 22 indoor cats and 13 outdoor cats. I feed around 40 dogs and 5 Cats in my area daily between 12 AM to 1:30 AM. If they experience any health issues, I get them immediately treated.
I have raised less than one day old puppies and kittens at my home. 90% of my rescued puppies and kittens brought to my house for fostering. I don't put them in a paid shelter or hospital for fostering because I can't afford the expenses.
I've rescued and fostered more than 100 dogs and cats.
I've successfully found homes (Adopters) for more than 60 puppies and 20 cats which were homeless. I've sterilized around 30 dogs and 20 cats. Additionally, I've actively volunteered at PFCI (People for Cattle in India) and CAWT (Chennai Animal Welfare Trust). At PFCI I've been involved in 10+ cattle rescue operations.

Most of the rescues, fostering and medical expenses were taken care by myself, so I never really bothered about donations. But, time comes for everything. My financial situation has landed me in an urgent and important hiccup of not being able to pay the hospital's bill of past few rescues. I've tried my best and settled most of the amount with my own money and help from some of my friends.I request you please make a small contribution to help me clear this large bill of Rs.27,803 ASAP to the hospital.I've attached the invoices, Please kindly help me.
