Dogs Need Help Rescue is the animal welfare wing of JanmFoundation.org
Though one day we would like to be able to support many more animal species, at present we are only able to work with dogs. We run street dog spaying and neutering campaigns, conduct vaccination drives, rescue and rehome abandoned pets, provide medical assistance to dogs in need through a network of private veterinarians and animal shelters. At any given time we have over 20 dogs in our care across multiple dog boarding across Delhi & NCR. We also provide assistance to small animal shelters and volunteers. Our annual cost is close to Rs. 30 lakhs and so we seek funds.

Below is a list with pictures of the different dogs and pups in our care who are looking for homes, fosters, or sponsors. Please help us as the only thing that stops us from helping animals is severe lack of funds.  You can email us at pashusuraksha@gmail.com to know more.

Uno, Male, found when he about 1.5 months old along with their 3 other siblings dumped in a garbage drain in A block, Vipul, Sohna Road Gurgaon. One of the pups had drowned in the drain. Other four were picked up by us. One was a loner so settled in a farm near the boarding. One of the siblings Lola has been adopted in the US. Uno and Dos (his sibling) remain in the boarding.

Dos, Male, found when he about 1.5 months old along with their 3 other siblings dumped in a garbage drain in A block, Vipul, Sohna Road Gurgaon. One of the pups had drowned in the drain. Other four were picked up by us. One was a loner so settled in a farm near the boarding. One of the siblings Lola has been adopted in the US. Dos and Uno (his sibling) remain in the boarding.

Chotu, Male. When he was about 2 months old, one of his pup siblings scared him and jumped at him. That scared him so much that he had a fall and got paralysis. After two months of treatment and care he started walking again. However, due to having stayed away from the road, he is unable to go back to the street and remains in our care looking for a home.

Blackie (Above) & Blacku (Below), Males both. Rescued from Islampur village, Sector 38, Near Medanta hospital. Mother was a doberman. Father Desi and so the breeder threw the pups out. Two pups were adopted from us by a farm. Two have grown up in a boarding and seek their forever home.

DJ, Female. Found in only a skeleton form. Vet check up revealed that she had all her ribs broken and had extremely bad infection. She still keeps getting liver issues now and then due to the extensive 6-month medication she had gone through. Now in permanent boarding due to her medical condition.

Charlie, Female. Her pups were born in the drain in Sohna Road which was flooding just before monsoons last year. We managed to get 5 pups and mother out. One pup didn't make it as it caught some infection some weeks later. Rest four pups have been adopted in the US.

Himmat, Female. She was found as a very traumatized and scared pup in Sushant Lok A block, Gurgaon. Her family had been killed the rumour goes and she had seen the killing. She has never really healed from the torture and does not trust any human except for the owner of the boarding where she stays permanently.

Parle, Female. She was also found without a mum in A block, Vipul, Sohna Road Gurgaon. There were five siblings out of which two died as pups. Two live in A block on the streets still. This one developed severe infection which attacked her neuro system and she was paralysed for two months. We didn't want to give up. After two months of medical boarding, one day she started slowly walking again. She has a terrible gait but walks, plays, runs around and bullies other dogs. She is in permanent boarding due to her medical condition.

Cheeku, Female. Vaccinated, healthy, spayed Chikoo was brought to the boarding along with her sibling Mango because they both developed severe viral infection. Mango was adopted but tragically passed away in an accident leaving everyone broken hearted. Chikoo is presently at the boarding and needs some extra special pampering.

Whitkey, Male. This one was found as a 2 month pup running alone on the main road near Islampur village, Sector 38, Gurgaon. He was super terrified at the time. Now look at him. In a boarding presently looking for a permanent home.

Limpu, Female. She was found after having been in an accident in Sohna Road, Gurgaon struggling on the main road. Since has recovered though still has a bad leg. Now living in the boarding till forever home is found.

Whitku, Male. He is one of 7 pups born in a gated colony and thrown out by the residents. One had died as a pup a few weeks after birth. One got adopted as he looked like a Husky. Two went to the US based forever homes last year and one has gone to the US this March. Three remain at the boarding.
