I am an Independent filmmaker and child rights activist trained and educated in Hansraj college, Jamia Millia Islamia and TISS. I am working on a documentary film titled with ‘Somewhere between survival and risks’ as researcher/director. I have been working on this for last one month and it will take one more month to finish. I need funds for personal, technical and other support to complete this documentary.
Children are small people with bigger rights. Somewhere between survival and risks is a documentary based on the lives of street children and abuse of household items such as glue, thinner and nail paint remover as inhalants. Through this documentary my aim is to shed light on the vulnerabilities of street children and raise awareness on urgency of intervention required to address these issues at various levels.

As of now I have given my full time in the research required for the documentary (pre-production). The research has been going on for 2 months which has costed me Rs.50,000 including stay, rent and food in Mumbai.
Second stage of expenditure is production which will take place in cities- Delhi and Mumbai in October. The cost would include rental equipment, cinematographer, travel and stay which will amount to Rs.70,000.
Third stage is post production which includes personnel, material and process (editing, recording and digital intermediate) and miscellaneous( certificate, legal rights and other production charges). The estimated cost for the same is Rs.70,000
