Divesh, is a 5 year old boy, who lives in Madhavaram, Chennai suffers from Ano Rectal Malformation which is a birth defect.

Ano rectal malformation is a defect that occurs during the fifth to seventh weeks of fetal development. With this defect, the anus (opening at the end of the large intestine through which stool passes) and the rectum (area of the large intestine just above the anus) do not develop properly.


To fix the defect he needs to undergo 4 surgeries, 2 of which has been done already. He is due for the 3rd surgical procedure, colostomy closure surgery, for which his family, desperately, is in need of money.


Divesh's father works as a driver and he earns Rs.10,000 per month from which he has to cover his rental expenses and the needs of his family. His mother is a house wife.

His 3rd surgery (colostomy closure surgery) has been planned on 2nd week of June, this year 2017, at Child Trust Hospital, Nungambakkam, Chennai.

He needs Rs.1,00,000 for the surgery, of which the family has managed to arrange Rs.20,000.

They still need Rs.80,000 to pay for the surgery.
