My name is Sandhya and I am raising this fund for my husband Naresh who is 34 years old.
We've been married for 6 years and we are a family of 3 with myself, Naresh, and our daughter Varunavi.
Naresh is working in a Telecom Company in Chennai. Naresh is a healthy male, sportsperson, more social, Jovial, and more supportive. He had supported many of his friends and people around him whenever there is a need. He never said NO when someone approached him for help.
We were happily living in Chennai, Tamil Nadu until the evening of 15th Dec 2020 to our shock Naresh suddenly collapsed. We were terrified and rushed to the nearest hospital where in general terms it was explained to us as Brain stroke.
Even before we recover from the terrific shock which left storms in our happy family, we have taken Naresh to a multi-specialty hospital (MGM Healthcare Chennai).
There, He has undergone EMERGENCY LEFT FRONTO-TEMPORAL--PARIETAL DECOMPRESSIVE HEMICRANIECTOMY" (WITH BONE IN BONE BANK) in
MGM Healthcare Chennai. His skull has been removed for the procedure and it is still not placed. It requires another surgery for placing the skull once Naresh responds well.
Until now, we've spent about Rs. 600000. As per the current estimate in the next 3 to 4 months, we might need around Rs.1500000 for the upcoming surgery, intensive supportive care and Rehabilitation (Home Care nursing, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy). Rehabilitation might extend further as we were informed that Naresh will take time to respond, speak, and think.
