Dear all,
My father met an severe bike accident on 26th Jan, 2018. Due to this 4 bones in Spinal cord, all facial bones, 2 bones in ribs are broken, a big cut on upper left eye and this accident places a brain hemorrhage for which CSF(Cerebral Spinal fluid) is coming out from his brain from noses. As of now face and spinal surgery is over but he is not able to swallow anything even a spoon of water.
As per the doctor’s advice the ratio of leaking of CSF is less now, but it is not stopped completely. On the other hand Doctor’s did the endoscopy of his throat and confirmed that one valve from two valves in throat is paralysed, that’s why he is not able to swallow anything and it will take a long time(1- 2 months) to respond properly. Doctors are assuming that due to accident the lower jaw presses some nerves in throat. For this doctors will not able to allow him to breadth from noses. Tracheostomy (a hole in breathing pipe to bypass the breathing) will be there for a long time. As soon as he swallow then only tracheostomy can be removed. So gastroenterologist will do a surgery now and they will put a tube in his stomach to bypass the liquid feeding.
So as of now he requires an immediate eye surgery and throat treatment. Attaching the photo of his face.
I am from a middle class family and I got much help different donors from milapp as of now. But also require more help from your side.
