This video is a memory from Aranpoor.
I came to Bastar in 2015 to understand ground and start working in an organization also my intention was to understand a plot for ethnography but after some time I got indulged myself in severe pain with heavy heart ; here I saw malnutrition, illiteracy, cultural destruction and violence by the both side means naxals and our government are making worst the life of adivasis.
It was unbelievable for me.
I just heard about this sort of situation where one can die because of normal fever while I worked some other spaces and organization also left my college in the mid semester third...I got nothing mere hopelessness and I was not able make feel better myself then I decided to go into a interior village and stay there .
Villagers gave me house, food, love and what not and was working for the villagers and I was able work there. I was teaching there the children and also learning from them, helping them to get access of government welfare policies, assisting the patients to reach hospitals and get proper healthcare.
It was the best time which was pushing my mind do more with more energy but unfortunately after two months the government officials stopped me to work there because I was working there independently and there excuse was you have to be affiliated with an organization and I was roaming around the collector and asked for the permission which earlier I got from the villagers, I also intimated the very first to police station of the locality known as Aranpur but they ignored me and also violated our constitution which grants me or any citizen to stay there and work for the community. Finally with the hopeless and the rays of hope which entered inside when I was working there I registered an organization named Samya Bhoomi Foundation which currently working at holistic development of a village known as Mahra Karka.
I am looking for helping hands to do this cause which cannot be done without the contribution of concerned people like you.
A SMALL CONTRIBUTION CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE!
