My name is Vaibhav Kumar Chaturvedi and  I am here to fundraise for my brother Rohitash Kumar Chaturvedi who is suffering from chronic liver disease. 

He was suffering from jaundice for the past year and a half and did not recover at all from the disease ever since. Instead, the prolonged illness developed into liver infection causing severe ascites and kidney infection. 

After being admitted at Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences Emergencies, he was diagnosed with cirrhosis and chronic liver disease. He is also suffering from spur cell anemia. The liver has been damaged severely with A MELD score of Na-26 and the Child score of C grade which determines the 3 months mortality percentage of the patient. 

There is also need for further tests of the recipient (Rohitash) and the donor (Myself) for matching the liver. Also there are several days in the week where he needs to be admitted for albumin transfusion and high dosage medicines. 

We have spent all the savings for the treatment of jaundice and hospitalisation. Since my father who was working in the public sector has retired and there are no assets and scope for funds within the family, there is an immediate need for funds which are very vital for the treatment before the transplant and the transplant itself. 

This is a very critical time for the entire family and this crowd funding fundraiser is our only hope to go ahead with the transplant. I, therefore appeal to all of you reading this to contribute and create awareness among friends and family who can support this cause monetarily. 

The entire family will be really grateful and touched by your positive response because it has been a really hard time to cope up emotionally,  physically and financially.
