Story

Hi,
Meet Students of Kadapa Swamy Government School. They are a bunch of enthusiastic, talented and compassionate children who live in the slums and surrounding areas of KP Agrahara in Bangalore, a dwelling you might have seen along the railway tracks towards Bangalore City Station.
They come to school everyday bursting with joy from meeting their friends, wishing their teachers, playing on a small cemented quadrangle, half the size of a basketball court. They learn with a zeal and curiosity that will amaze you.
However, the lives of these students is a struggle against many social evils like discrimination, alcoholism, child labor, school drop outs, etc.
I am trying to help the students battle these issues emotionally and socially to help them create a better future for themselves and their community

How am I helping the students?
1) Helping students build a high Emotional Quotient (EQ).
2) Strengthening their Life Skills like Grit, Optimism, Curiosity, Gratitude, Self Control, etc to drive them to success in whichever field they chose to pursue.
3) Teaching students by Experiential Learning, where students experience what they're learning instead of merely listening to a lecture. This involves a lot of learning aids, games and activities.

How will your Donations be used to Help students?
1) Buying learning aids such as science kits, activity, phonics aids, sentence builders, math games etc.
2) Fund the Life Skills project initiated by VideosForKnowledge
3) Bringing technology(Like Tablets and projectors) to government school classrooms and enhancing student learning.

Please help me give these lovely heart warming students an excellent education and a better future! Help in making the change you want to see in this world.
Thank you.
