I teach 25 amazing 4th graders in Vivekananda Public School, Hyderabad. It has been 6 months into the fellowship and I have realized that there are many challenges that I face while teaching these students everyday. These challenges include the lack of basic requirements such as stationery, books, proper benches as well as the absence of resources which help enhance their learning experiences. The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds which help bridge the innumerable gaps and help my students attain an excellent education.

 These children belong to backgrounds where they have to deal with issues of alcoholism, domestic violence, sexual harassment on a day to day basis. Many of my children have been forced to mature at a very young age due to the environment of the communities they live in. All I am trying to do here is create a safe, exceptional environment for them in the classroom where they would want to come every day and forget everything that they are facing in their homes at least for a period of 6 hours. We all would agree with the fact that the only way to get these innocent children out of their present condition is through EDUCATION.

A small contribution from your side which would be a little something for you could actually change a kid’s life. 5. Counselors for some students who are going through serious depression issues.

8. Workshops- clay modelling, dancing,singing etc .
