Our Cause

​Help us to build one room in our expansion project by donating to this campaign!

Our Expansion Project will expand and improve the existing Baale Mane home, increasing our impact and raising the level of care we are able to provide our girls. 

The project will expand our capacity and create better facilities for study, hygiene and play. Our long-term plan is to become an outreach centre, working with local villages, schools & other NGOs and this expansion will give us the space to do this.

The project aims to fundraise for the expansion and renovation of the existing home through pledges by different individuals and organisations to fund one room of the overall building. Baale Mane has received 35AC approval for this project, enabling supporters to receive 100% tax exemption on their donations.

Our Work

Help us continue to provide long-term, high-quality support for girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, by building an updated, more suitable home for our girls and young women. Through Baale Mane, the girls have the opportunity to make choices about their futures and to lead independent and self-sustainable lives having had a happy, healthy childhood in our home.

Our Aims
Currently, we have most of our girls sleeping in one very congested dormitory. We also have no designated sick room, our bathrooms and kitchen are in need of updating, and very little private space for our staff. 

We are going to solve these problems by:

• Building dormitories for at least 10 additional girls
• Building a more hygienic, updated kitchen for over 60 girls
• Building a dedicated sick room for over 60 girls
• Building expanded and improved study areas for over 60 girls
• Building more hygienic bathrooms for over 60 girls
• Building staff areas for our 5 care staff who live and work round-the-clock at the home

The Cost
We are aiming to fundraise enough through this campaign to pay for 1 room of the project. To date, we have 20 lakhs of committed funding for the project.
