Why am I fundraising?

A 8 year old girl who is the only daughter for my teacher was diagnosed with Wilson's disease.Doctors said liver transplantation was the only option for her survival.  They were only given 48 hours time for surgery as it was diagnosed and turned out into an emergency in a matter of  5-6 days. They were clueless about the expenses the surgery would incur. All they knew was a surgery need to be done within 48 hours to save their little one. By GOD's grace they found a suitable donor in the family and with the help of many friends they were able to get the surgery done last month which costed about 50 lakhs. Recovery period is as crucial as surgery and expensive. They need a minimum of 20 lakhs for the medication in the coming 6 months. Our support at this tough time is all the family needs. I started this page to give strength to the family that they can go through this situation with all our help.

What do I plan to do with the funds?

All the funds collected with be spent towards the surgery and recovery expenses for the girl and the donor.  Please find the estimation letter below
