"I spot more than one beacon of hope all around me. It’s towards them I hope the beneficiaries of this trust will walk and fare well.

I'm Swetha ,the Founder-Director of Born2Win, an organization.  As a child, i was born Sudhakar, then recognized my feminine traits, kept them hidden in a closet from my family, and continued to lead a dual life until even today. Conflicts in personal life have never deterred me.

Born2Win Social Welfare Trust is an NGO started in the year 2013 by an ambitious Transwoman who has positive outlook towards society.
The organization was formed with a vision to work towards the empowerment of the Transwomen community in Tamil Nadu, through facilitating education and employment opportunities for them.

It does not stop there. We also provide counselling, emotional support and regular follow ups in order to ensure they go in a righteous manner and also to shield them from exploitation. We also ensure they are positive role models in the society.

As a part of development programme we are supporting Six Transwomen to enroll in a Beautician course in VLCC. These Six brave people were previously engaged in sex work for their livelihood. With the support of Born 2 Win they are willing to get rehabilitated and work as common public.

The details of the candidates are as follows:
Ms Riya, aged 25 year. She disqualified her BBA graduation. With the help of Born 2 Win, the college authorities accepted to admit her in college, however in the next year.

Ms Hassvitha, aged 27 years, completed her 12th grade and joined the VLCC course but discontinued due to health factors

Ms Preethi, aged 27 years, and completed her schooling and now ready to pursue a course she is passionate about.

Ms Shana, aged 24 years, completed her BBA.

In addition to the above mentioned members we also have Ms. Anjana, former aged 28 years, who has completed her 12 th grade and Ms Sona, aged 30 years willing to take part in the Diploma course.

They were initially involved in flesh trade as they had no other choice. After witnessing the events organized Born 2 Win, they have been motivated and are willing to pursue their education as well as set career goals.

It is a Diploma course. The course fee is stated to be Rs.80,000 per candidate and the institution supported us by providing concession of 20% in fee. Two of the students who are pursuing the course plan  to set up their own parlor and two others are planning to become a faculty handling beautician course for future batches.

We have paid nearly Rs.204000 as a part of initial fee and Rs.180000 stand outstanding from our side.  The course gets completed by July 15th, 2017 and the balance amount is expected to be settled to the institution before completion in order to receive completion certificate.
