The campaign:
The brutal night cold troubles millions of Indians, Who live much below poverty line. Through this initiative, we are trying to bring some warmth into their lives.
Inviting more corporates/individuals to join "200 Blankets", an Aim India Winter Donation Drive (Dec 22, 2015 - Jan 22, 2016) to provide blankets to people in Sundarban living in jungle grappling with the bitter cold.
As a part of the drive, corporate/individual partners will sponsor purchase of 200 blankets at a time to be distributed to old and children to help them stay warm. The donation drive is carried out in the following way:
- Sponsors of "200 Blankets" contribute Rs.40,000 towards purchase and distribution (see table below for cost break-up) of 200 blankets among the poor and needy in an identified cluster where the homeless are based.
- Aim India Foundation shall take care of the entire process of purchase and distribution of the blankets and the feedback with the purchase receipts and necessary photographs will be shared with the donors.
