Blanket Drive to keep all warm!

Everyone is affected by the bitter cold prevailing in several regions of India. In a country like India, poor have no shelter on their heads. They are forced to sleep on the roads and in this cold, poor suffer the most as they shiver and die not having the means to help themselves.  They do not have the clothes or blankets needed to keep them warm. They face many hardships and therefore I would request each of you to donate whatever little you can. It can range from 100Rs to whatever you may wish. A small helping hand from your side can help us save millions of poor people. An average blanket on buying from wholesale would cost around Rs.200/- or $3

. The target for the initiative is to collect 8,000 blankets and clothes for distribution in cities including Delhi NCR, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. Our main focus area will be the villages and people in Delhi NCR who sleep on the footpaths and have no shelter or roof on their head.

Delhi villages : Prem Nagar , Khanpur , Gharoli , Kondli , etc

UP Villages : Bisarna , Dabri , Basai , Sikanderpur , etc

Haryana Villages : jhajjar , Hisar , etc

Himachal Pradesh : Bilaspur , Chamba , etc

Uttrakhand : Gharwal , Chamoli , etc

We will carry this drive by a group of friends , students and teachers and other elder people. I have made my very own team of students who are willing to work towards this cause , we are1 also supported by many adults including relatives. We aim to provide them relief from this bitter cold. 

We are a group of people including professionals like teachers and we regularly hold donation camps to donate clothes to the poor, we go in rural areas as well as hospitals, we hold education sessions for the needy and now our next target is this blanket drive this winter!
