Cyclone Fani has left behind a trail of devastation and acute suffering in the coastal district of Odisha like Puri, Khurda and Jagatsinghpur. The challenge is now is to provide relief as part of restoring the livelihood of people so that people can stand on their own feet slowly. Repairs and Rehabilitation work need to be done quickly owing to the mansoon session.
Situation Overview
The socio economic scenario of the affected areas as like as ten years back as the household expressed their views . The high yielding paddy has been lost which was to be harvested in the month of may 2019 . However it is important to note that the households not only lost their food grain but also cattle population moving here and there The electric system has been damaged such a way which may take minimum one year to revive the situation. The market places starting from village to block head quarter like Brahmagiri have been lost completely..
It was seen each and every household is shelterless neither they have place to cook nor to stay in the house. During May 2019 , the heat time of summer, the household are suffering miserably and living in open sky . As on today , the government has not yet been reached distributing a polythine sheet. In this respect immediate action can be taken to reduce the vulnerabilities of people by making temporary shelter like bamboo and tarpoline , as almost all hundred percent household have lost their shelter made as thatched houses .The supply of cooked food is not enough in quantity , unorganized and absence of equity ,
Vijay Electricals Ltd. who is operating in the area for electrical restoration has volunteered to partner with us to help the needy in their immediate relief, we need more hands to join us in giving hope of rise to the thousands whose life is disturbed unimaginably.

- Provision of minimum grocery like dal , potato , onion , salt and dry food beaten rice, baby food,
- Provision of first aid kits
