Hello everyone!
I'm Bindu Chaudhary, a student and social worker. For several years, during college I've been involved with a number of projects and initiatives to help underprivileged people. In 2022, I became a volunteer and active worker of Humari Pehchan NGO.
One of their projects addressing 'HUNGER AND MALNUTRITION' has inspired me a lot and I've decided to become an active part of it. This project is aimed at food distribution and helping the needy.

This problem has been mushroomed by the ongoing COVID19 pandemic. The restrictions on the movement of goods and people jeopardize the disruption of the supply chain and price volatility of already unstable dietary systems.

With the on and off of lockdown/curfews, there is no stability in the working conditions in the society and hence people are left with no jobs.
In a population of more than 2,00,000 underprivileged people residing in slums around South Delhi with approx. 5-6 members in each family and at least 2 members without a job is an unfortunate situation that is alarming and needs attention.

Recently, through a survey, it has brought to my attention that HUNGER is a major problem. So, I have decided to help them with the monthly distribution of Ration/Meals
Basic necessities for 1 family: Rs.2199/-
Basic necessities for 10 families: Rs.21990/-
Basic necessities for 35 families: Rs.76965/-
Ration for 1 family includes:
( Three types of Pulses, Rice, Atta, Eggs, Tea, Sanitary Pads, Soap, Shampoo, Cloth, and Utensils washing powder)
In order to fulfill the growing needs, we are raising funds. Everyone is welcomed wholeheartedly to donate as per capacity and willingness; ultimately it's not the amount but an effort to contribute that actually matters.
