Although orphaned from childhood with no one to help him, Bhaskar has persevered in life. He has worked to provide for himself by painting houses and billboards. One of his work assignments took him to Vijayawada. After completing his work, Mr. Bhaskar Rao boarded the Trimula express train bound for Ankapalle. He stopped at the Kovuru station for breakfast; however, as he tried to re-board the train, he slipped and fell, seriously injuring one of his legs. His injuries were so severe that the doctors had to amputate one of Mr. Bhaskar's legs.
