This is to inform you that Vinod is no more. His health kept deteriorating, doctors tried their best but could not save him.
We are thankful to all of you who came and helped us on a crucial time.

A high spirited energetic young man who is a compassionate and energetic soul who had an unwavering commitment to helping people in need at all times.
That was what Vinod was until last month.
He is currently fighting to be back to life to support his family and to be one among us, after having diagnosed with Leukemia (Blood cancer).
It all started with a fever , a continuous fever occurring with a week's gap. Like any normal person who has no family history of serious illness , he was under the impression that it is flu .It was his friends, seeing his unusual aloofness and tiredness suggested that he do a full check up.
Doctors who could not diagnose anything serious upon their routine medical evaluation, suggested a blood test, which turned out to be the worst that anyone could ever imagine
That was what Vinod was until last month.

He is rushed to Vellore Medical College , leaving aside all the work that he managed single handed.
As we are all aware of the fact that in such medical condition, there is no surgical procedure of removal of affected area/organ, but to transplant bone marrow from a matching donor.

The cost - A whooping 70 lacks , 50 lacs for the surgery alone. Chemotherapy is ongoing with 1.5 lacs per chemoHow can you help
He is unable to work now. His wife and mother are with him at hospital and his 2 children in college .This amount is too much for common man like us and so we appeal to all good hearts to join hands together to help his family consisting of his aged mother, loving wife and children in all possible ways and means.Every donation counts.
