Why am I fundraising?

A school is a place of exploring the impossibilities of the world, an arena where kids can imagine and visualize to the infinity. Imagine a school in lack of teachers, infrastructure, teaching materials so called TLMs (Teaching Learning Materials) and the class full of kids waiting for the teachers to take them in a space where they can touch the sky but the scenario in some of the Surat Municipal Corporation schools are just reciprocal in nature. initially we want to raise funds for the following 3 schools, where we are intervening;

School no. 192, Taiyabbji Rihana Abbas Urdu Primary School

School no. 30, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad urdu Primary school

School no. 40, Ali Abbas Vasi Mariz Urdu Primary School

These above mentioned schools are run by NPSS (Nagar Prathmik Shikshan Samiti) are in a need of print rich environment at school where kids can explore their world of studies on a whole new level. For the same, a concept called BALA (Building as Learning Aid) is mentioned in the SSA (Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan), which says, a building can be used for creating space where kids can study on their own with interest and curiosity. To implement this idea we want paints, necessary tools and the painters (can be done voluntarily if available).

Implementing this project can help me in curbing the dropout of kids from the Urdu community nearby the school, enrollment of kids and better learning levels of the kids.

What do I plan to do with the funds?

The raised funds will be divided among these 3 schools to get the required materials. After that we'll get the paints and the manpower to paint the whole building walls, classrooms, galleries, stairs, floor, ceiling, windows and doors with different concepts which are being studied in the textbooks so that kids can visualize even more than reading it.
