41-year-old Malliga and her husband S. Gunashekhar have been trying very hard to conceive a baby for the longest time. Finally, when they found out she was pregnant with triplets at the age of 41, it was a joyous occasion.

Unfortunately, their dream turned into a nightmare every soon when they learnt that during delivery they lost one of their babies. While the second baby is fine, the third baby was born premature, weighing only 550 grams.

The baby is now in the ICU on ventilator support and needs to remain in the hospital for another 4 weeks. The total cost of the baby's treatment is around 10 lakh Rs. This is far too high for the parents to afford and they need our help.
