Help 7-Year-Old Anusha Fight Cancer And Experience A Normal Childhood.

Anusha was like any other 7 year old adorable little girl, till she was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Her father, a farmer from Ramanagara, has sold his land and whatever he could, to raise funds for Anusha's treatment.

She is currently being treated at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital & Research Center and the doctors are confident that she will recover if the treatment continues.

But Honnadasegowda, her father, weeps inconsolably as he has exhausted all his resources and yet is determined to save her daughter. For her treatment, Anusha along with her mother, father and her younger brother, travel by bus from Ramanagara to Bangalore, every 3 days a week. Imagine a small girl, who has to travel 3 hours in a rickety bus after an intensive and exhausting chemo session.

How can we help?
Anusha has a chance to lead a normal childhood if her treatment continues and to ensure that her father needs 7 lakhs, an expense that he, a farmer, can't afford anymore. Any little contribution will help this family.

Attached are her hospital documents and some reports along with their Aadhar information.

Dear Supporters,

We met Anusha on Saturday to determine her health and make some inquiries. We are happy to inform you that she is responding well to the chemo sessions and she looked healthy and was cheerful. In fact this was the first time we saw her smiling..
She has undergone 30 chemo sessions till now but the doctors cant say for certain about how many more chemo sessions she would require.   As of now, she visits the hospital twice a week, once for a blood test followed with the chemo session.

Her medicine bills have been piling up as the cost ranges from 2000 to 5000.  These medicines are usually prescribed after each session, which means that her father has to spend close to 10000 every month.  This fund will also help him cover that cost.

Ever since Anusha's father sold his land he has been working as a  daily wager and his wife as a coolie.  He doesn't mind it as his primary concern is to cure her daughter, who he says, is a brilliant student.

Anusha has been promoted to 3rd class for her outstanding academic records. She hopes to join her friends in school to study and play with them, something that she is unable to do now.

Like always, we are indebted to you for your kindness and our only request it to keep forwarding this fundraiser to help her and her family.

Dear friends

Thank you for your support so far.  Even more overwhelming are your continuous prayers and we feel grateful for every penny that you have contributed so far.

As you know, the treatment is ongoing, Anusha visited the hospital again on July 19th for her chemo session and went back to Ramnagara on 21st July.  She is going to come back to Bangalore on 24th July and will be under chemo for the week.

Those who wish to meet her family can drop an email to me (campaign organizer)  and we will try arranging a visit.

We are 1.5 lacs away from reaching the required fund.  Please help us in spreading the word and achieve the target fund.

Meanwhile keep Anusha in your prayers...
