For the past two months, I have been teaching in Sonba Tupe School, a municipal corporation school in Pune. The journey so far as a teacher, has been very enriching and quite overwhelming.
My students come from a very humble background with minimal access to any exposure to extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. I have been striving hard to defeat the reality that poverty would determine the quality of education received by our kids.

This journey requires a lot of effort, both physical and financial. One area where the kids have shown immense results is football. The game has not only been an opportunity to enjoy but has taught them really pertinent life-skills like team work and discipline. Coming from troubled backgrounds and tough living conditions, the football field is like a retreat for the kids.


I have devoted myself completely to taking football forward for these kids and in the pursuit need your support. Currently, for the Just For Kicks tournament in Pune, the team needs sports equipment and a coach. There are four teams –Junior and Senior Girls and Junior and Senior Boys. Let’s all come together to realize the dream that ‘One day all children will have excellent education’.
