Story

Animal Welfare Trust Ekamra ( AWTE) is an initiative to do something good for the animals of Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This has been started and run by Purabi Patra, an MBA and teacher by profession who left her career to start this work in her hometown bhubaneswar where there was no concept of animal welfare and she herself had faced lots of difficulties for rescue and rehabilitation of stray and abandoned animals..Though she was individually involved in animal welfare long before she officially registered it as a Trust last year november. She runs a small shelter consists of 40 plus animals in a rented place since last one and half year and the place doesnt seem very well for being very small in size...Hence we need a bigger land where we can rehabilitate more number of animals where they can run freely as the current place is saturated now and we need a bigger place to shift our shelter. We are running short of funds to purchase a land and we need all your support to reach this goal. Once we ll be able to collect this amount we can go for a bigger land for our animals.

good cause for animals is like walking in a wrong side of the road, so we should ignore the negative things happening around, and feel positive with the little we have.
