    Asha Devi

    from Patna, Bihar

Kaushlendra Kumar, is a school teacher who is trying to earn every bit of money to save her 55 years old wife Asha Devi from a life-threatening flesh-eating disease ‘Necrotizing Fasciitis’ caused by severe bacterial infection.

4 days ago, she was doing well until she had a fall in bathroom causing excruciating pain to already Filariasis affected left leg. Her condition is worsening day by day with additional symptoms with every new medical test.

She was initially treated with pain killer dosage which did not had any positive effect next to which Mrs Asha faced feverish seizures and skin colour changes. After batteries of test it came out to be unrecognised bacterial infection leading to ICU admission. Her condition took awful turns with significant drop in blood pressure, blood clot impairment. Followed by septic shock causing respiratory distress she had to be intubated with ventilatory support.

What is Septic Shock?

Sepsis develops when the chemicals the immune system releases into the bloodstream to fight an infection cause inflammation throughout the entire body instead. Severe cases of sepsis can lead to septic shock, which is a medical emergency. Sepsis is the result of a massive immune response to bacterial infection that gets into the blood. It often leads to organ failure or injury.

Unsuccessful antibiotic dosage accelerated to very painful cellulitis bullae formation extending from knee to abdomen. First surgery was performed on 3rd Nov to help removing wound debridement that was caused by bacterial infection in which the bacteria damages the flesh. Now many more surgeries are urgently necessary which requires massive money.

Your generosity and support could save her life.

Please donate and support Mrs. Asha to add many more years to her life. Without your support we cannot give the treatment she needs and deserves.
