SUPPORT DAILY WAGE WORKERS AND UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN's EDUCATION.
With the help of local volunteers, ngos/ self-help groups we are supporting these daily wage laborers and their families by distributing grocery items.
Light de Literacy has been started to provide quality education to underprivileged children.
We have been working for children living in slums since 2012 and have started working under the name “LIGHT DE LITERACY” since September 27 th , 2014. ‘Light de Literacy’ means “साक्षरता का प्रकाश ” and the tag line “एक आशा नवनिर्माण की” clearly shows our vision for the future guided by the motto Educate * Empower * Enlighten.

As the lockdown increase, we are increasing our funds to donate more grains to daily wage workers. Also, we are setting up online classes for our children.

We, LIGHT DE LITERACY, as an organization, have always been dedicated and focused in development of our society, and your kind support has made it possible for us to reach out to more needy people.
The funds that you have helped us raise are being withdrawn to the official bank account of LIGHT DE LITERACY. We have withdrawn INR 29000 so far, and we are delighted to inform you that we have distributed daily rations to approximate 145 families.
The total contents of the ration kits are as follows:
Rice: 8.5 Quintals
Wheat Flour: 8.5 Quintals
Pulses: 1.5 Quintals
Potato: 3 Quintals
Oil: 110 Litres
Salt: 80 Kilograms
The areas we have covered are mostly in and around Ghaziabad, Noida, Lucknow, Jhansi, etc.
Your benevolence has helped around 500 students and 200+ families. We thank you again for your help. Keep supporting us.
