Assam Floods - An appeal
The perenial Assam Floods is a cause of devastation and agony for life in every form in Assam. Whereas, there are persistant efforts from every quarter like the Government and its agencies, public and private sector organisations , individuals , civil society organisations and others to alleviate the untold sufferings caused to the people and animals through relief of every kind, an additional effort from the Assamese Diaspora to contribute to the Relief Collection would inevitably help to further the cause .
In view of this , APWA has devised a three pronged Flood Relief Campaign through the following modes ;
1. Collection of various items / commodities and others in kind from the interested contributors from across Delhi NCR Region. A committee for the same has already been constituted.
2. Instituitional Collection of Cash and Kind throughout Delhi NCR
3. Finally, a crowdfunding drive through Milap to increase the outreach of the Funds collection drive .
APWA and its Members appeal to all the people of Delhi NCR to controbite to this campaign which targets to mitigate the untold sufferings of millions devastated by the ravaging floods rendering them homeless, foodless and without any form of shelter .
Any contribution irrespective of its size would be a boon and reflect our collective obligation towards our fellow beings including all forms of life so that they march towards normalcy amidst all difficulties.
APWA would be grateful to all for the same .
