About us

Apexa Foundation is a civil society organization working for Child Rights and Rural Development. ‘Musahar’ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musahar community in Azamgarh district are still living as tribal. They knew as ‘Rat Catcher’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfC7KvXbXGc. They are illiterate. Their children are enrolled in govt. schools but they do not like to go there because-

Children of upper caste hate and discriminate with them in school.
Teacher does not take interest to teach them.
They do not get their friendly environment in school.
They are unknown regarding benefit of education.

Why we seek your help-

30 Children of this community slowly going toward dropout position. This trend will permanently throw out away from education system. They need immediate help to continue their education and get involve in mainstream of education.

How you can help-

Children need mainstream of education in their environment. Community required awareness on benefit of education and sanitation. You can help through Apexa Foundation. Foundation wants to set up a Non Formal Education centre near community for 1 year. So children can complete their remaining education and again join govt. school in respective classes.
