2041 was founded by polar explorer, environmental leader and public speaker Robert Swan, OBE, the first person in history to walk to both the North and South Poles.
Swan has dedicated his life to the preservation of Antarctica by the promotion of recycling, renewable energy and sustainability to combat the effects of climate change. He has removed 1,500 tons of rubbish from the Antarctic, has reached out to over 35,000 African youth and has taken over 550 young people, teachers and corporate heads o
n his Antarctic journeys.
The mission is to build personal leadership skills among people who choose to embrace the challenge of sustaining all forms of life – in their familes, communities, organizations and the planet.
The vision for 2041 is to have committed youth leaders, emerginf from every corner of society and working together to create a sustainable world.
What do I plan to do with the funds?
A large chunk of the funds raised will go into the Expedition fee. The tentative dates are March 05-15 2017. The rest of the amount will go into funding my airfare, food expenses, warm clothing, and any licenses, permits and insurance policies that will be required to be allowed to go on this expedition.

A. The idea is to come back and use the leadership skills and experience to work
with local businesses to make clean eating accessible and affordable.

I am a student from Chhattisgarh, INDIA,studying computer science from Durg University, DURG.
I have applied for this Antarctic expedition because I want to represent each and everyone from my state to inspire through this expedition, this expedition will not only will enhance my learning towards the environment but will insure the love for ecosystem by the lowest from my state.
