Sachin, an 8th Grade student of a low income private school in Pune has decided on making a mini - CNC Plotter for the Science Exhibition. He needs an Arduino chip and motors to create it.
While Rinki is planning to make a compass and other models using magnets after studying about Magnetism. Suyog and Shubhangi too are keen on understanding how Rutherford came up with his model for an Atom, while also exploring the conspiracies behind the Bermuda Triangle.

Hey Everyone,

I am Tiasha Banerjee, a Fellow of Teach for India, Pune, teaching 120, 8th Graders in Anjali English Medium School, Pune, trying to make Science and Math interesting subjects to learn and enjoy.

As an Educator I strongly believe that experiential learning leads to better understanding and higher motivation towards education as it is a tangible thing they work for. And to make that happen, I want to, through a Science Exhibition, give them a platform to showcase their talents and abilities. The kids too are very eager on proving that age is no bar when it comes to hard work, creativity and and willpower.

Through this fundraiser I hope to make this a reality by arranging all the materials required and expose them to all the amazing things outside just their books and classrooms.


These funds will provide them with a joyful learning experience and also help in exploring what the world has to offer.
