Anima Kanrar urgently needs to undergo a cardiac surgery to save her life. She has been diagnosed with CHD D/TGA, Severe Left AV Valve, Mild Systemic Valve Dysfunction since birth and was on medical intervention since then. She hails from West Bengal.  

Anima started to complain of chest pain and breathlessness for which she consulted a doctor in a hospital in Calcutta who had advised surgery. Hence they continued on medical management. Later as one of her uncle got to know about her problem and suggested Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. She was immediately consulted with  Dr. Devananda in the month of September 2016 who has advised her to undergo Left Aortic Valve Repair/ Replacement with or without PPI at the earliest.

It's only been 9 months since Anima got married to Mr.Hemanthu. He is a daily wager and they live with his parents. He earns around Rs. 4000/- per month and the family is dependent on the income he gets for their living.

She has a elder sister who is married and a brother who takes tuition at home and earns only Rs. 3500/- per month. The total cost of the surgery is Rs. 660000 including the implant. As she has to get admitted twice- once for the valve repair/ replacement and then if required a replacement/ Pulmonary implant she has come again ones the surgery heals.

Anima's parents could arrange only Rs. 1,50,000 for the treatment and are unable to afford for the rest of the treatment.
