Anil Kumar 37 years from Chandigarh. Currently living with family and working as a collection executive and earning only Rs. 8000 per month.
From last 3 years Anil was suffering from CML C Inflammatory Bowel Disease. His KD Mutation is positive & hence needs DASATINIB or NILOTINIB and is undergoing treatment at PGIMR, Chandigarh.

Chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) is a type cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. In CML the bone marrow produces too many white cells, called granulocytes. These cells, sometimes called blasts or leukaemic blasts, gradually crowd the bone marrow, interfering with normal blood cell production. They also spill out of the bone marrow and circulate around the body in the bloodstream. Because they are not fully mature, they are unable to work properly to fight infections. Over time, a shortage of red cells and platelets can cause anaemia, bleeding and/or bruising.

He has consulted few doctors, the doctors’ medication made him feel better to go for work.

Upon the initial visit the doctors ran blood work. The result of the blood work was alarming as Anil’s CBC count and Platelet levels came back extremely low. Based on these results, they decided to test Anil’s bone marrow. The initial result of the test was life changing as Anil was diagnosed with Blood Cancer - CML (Chronic Myeloid Leukemia). With this, Anil and his family need the help and support of all of their friends and loved ones alike. They are fighting cancer! The overall stress and financial burden that this has put on their family is very difficult and unexpected. He is living with his parents, wife and 2 kids studying in Govt School for which school has supported to pay their school fees. With all your support we can help him to defeat cancer! Doctor’s are helping him to get the medicine, but for the next 6 months they cannot provide him medicine for free.
