Hi there! I am Anika Saraf a student of class 9. I am a part of Hamari pahachan a non-governmental organization (NGO) working for the welfare of the underprivileged people. The causes include education for children, environmental conservation, women's safety, and animal rights.
I have taken initiative in project Sukhad which helps underprivileged women spend their periods comfortably with proper means and information and assisting them by providing sanitary pads, educating them on proper menstrual hygiene, and raising awareness that 'periods' and discussing them is not a taboo topic, but rather a normal method.
Hamari Pahachan helds weekly distribution drive distributing SUKHAD KIT consists of pads, soap, disposal paper, and other necessities. Hamari Pahchan Ngo is going to organize another mass distribution on World Menstrual Hygiene Day i.e. 28th May 2021 where we are planning to distribute around 7 K SUKHAD KITS to underprivileged women.
Per kit price:
Sukhad kit for 1 woman = Rs. 1,400/-
Sukhad kits for 5 women = Rs 7,000/-
KIT INCLUDES:
24 packets of sanitary pad
6 packets of soap
Disposable paper envelopes
