Hello everyone,
We are Anandadhara Prabasi Sanstha, a non profit group of 90 families, working for various cultural and social activities in PCMC area. This year we are planning to organize Durga Puja in Chikhali area.
We have realized and observed that In the midst of fun-holiday-decorated, highly charged, electrifying, gold- and silver-ornamented Durga Puja, Eid, Diwali and Christmas festivities, we Indians don’t have much time to think about the have-nots — the poor and dispossessed that Tagore, Vivekananda talked about. With this aim in mind we have decided to equally distribute the donations received for the welfare of the society around us.
Our Plan:
We are requesting donations using social platform and our local circles. The collected funds will be used for organising, distributions and donations.
As we are doing this for first time the whole team is excited in preparing for it. We are sure we will be able to do justice to our charitable intent of organising Durga Puja at Chikhali. The event will attract many people in this high density developing area of PCMC.
Day Wise Plan:
Shashti - Your donations will help us to distribute a set of pen/pencils/copies for poor children.
Saptami - Your donations will help us to distribute a blanket.
Ashtami - Your donations will help us to serve mahabhog to poor and devotees targetting approx 800people.
Navami - Your donations will help us to serve some basic needs to children like water bottles, socks, winter caps etc.
Dashami - Your donations will help us to distribute box of sweets to mark the end of Durga Pujo.
We need your help in making this plan successful and memorable and help us to aim much bigger from next year onwards.
All donators will receive photos of the distributions and happy faces which will ensure that your donated money is not wasted in somewhere else.
You can also join us in celebrating this years Pujo for a great cause.
