Dear sir/ madam,
My niece Deepali age 9 years is suffering from Thalasemia Major(Blood disorder) This was detected at the age of One year. Since then her parents are doing red blood cell transfusion in every three weeks. The life of red blood cell is three weeks. After three weeks the red blood cells dies in the body and became Iron and accumulated in the body.
The difficult part is taking out the iron from body and keep her fit. we need to maintain the iron level 1000-1500 as against for a normal human being. The process of maintaining a child suffering from a blood disorder called Thallasaemia Beta is complicated and costly. Getting matching stem cell is a permanent solution and cure to the problem. Transplanting the stem cell will provide a new life to her.
She will be in the hospital for two months to complete the transplant and medicated for one year from transplant. This is an expensive process and not possible for our family to afford such a huge expenditure. Therefor requesting you to contribute whatever possible to help us to do this operation and enable the child to live a normal life.
